- Location: Emergency Department

Unit Specifics:


- Number of Beds: 101
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically, up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
- Tech Support: Techs available in cardiac monitoring and internal processing areas
- Documentation System: Cerner
- Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend; flexible scheduling based on department needs
- Floating Policy: Open to floating within the ED, not outside

Certifications Required:


- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications before start date
- ENPC certification within 90 days of hire

Candidate Profile:


- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in an ER setting
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred
- Team-oriented with strong coaching and feedback skills
- Flexible to work in all areas of the emergency department

Dress Code:


- Required uniform: Navy scrubs
