Ochsner Health System is seeking BC/BE physicians with nuclear medicine fellowship training and American Board of Nuclear Medicine certification to join our growing Nuclear Medicine section. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.
This position includes coverage at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans - Jefferson Highway (a tertiary / quaternary academic medical center), the Benson Cancer Center, and 3 Ochsner South Shore community hospitals, including Ochsner Kenner Medical Center, the site of our Neuroendocrine Tumor program. In addition to diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT, Ochsner also performs nuclear medicine therapeutic procedures and has a cyclotron at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans.
