We are seeking a Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in our Occupational Medicine Health Unit in Coldwater, Michigan. You will be joining a team of physical therapists, athletic trainers, certified medical assistants, and case managers to provide a comprehensive team approach of care to our client company's employees.About Industry Health Solutions:We are a private occupational medicine practice focused on making a difference in the lives of our customers and their employees. Required qualifications / skills / experience / certifications / licenses:Candidates will be expected to hold a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in the state of Michigan, have good orthopedic skills, preferably at least two years' experience and an understanding of occupational medicine, excellent and dynamic people skills, good communication skills, professional confidence, and be an independent thinker.Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusionsDOT (Department of Transportation) physicalsJoint injectionsSuturingMedical screeningTreatment planningCompleting clinical notesWorking closely with our Case Manager and worker's compensation case management team Job Type: Per DiemHours: Day shift (8:00am to 4:00pm)Location: Coldwater, MISalary Range: Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401(k) w/matching, competitive salary, paid time offWhere to apply / contact: Please send cover letter, resume, and professional references
