Support and motivate residents to engage in social, physical, and cognitive activities and adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of individual residents.
Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of social and recreational activities and programs for residents.
Maintain accurate and complete records of activities and resident participation.
Transport residents to and from activities as needed and assist with the setup and cleanup of activity spaces.
Coordinate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Creative and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.
Knowledge of recreational therapy or related field is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
