Associate's Degree with coursework in library technology and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of basic principles and practices of library classification, cataloging, research, and reference work. Knowledge of practices and procedures of the operation of a research library and use of standard library resources. Ability to pass background, drug screen and if applicable medical screenings (i.e. vision, hearing, or physical) if required by client.
